Grażyna Kulczyk Collection. Everybody Is Nobody for Somebody is part of the series of exhibitions on contemporary art that we organise in the Santander Art Gallery in Grupo Santander City. On this occasion, the exhibition includes a selection of pieces from the collection of Grażyna Kulczyk, one of the most important collectors in Poland.
Beauty and darkness, religion and eroticism, aesthetics and provocation, entertainment and reflection are mixed in the GK Collection that has two different lines: a feminist line and another more rational collection related to kinetic art, conceptual art, Op Art and abstract art. The exhibition, curated by Timothy Persons, includes over 100 pieces by contemporary Polish artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Roman Opalka, Zofia Kulik, Alina Szapocznikow, which are displayed alongside important international artists such as Olafur Eliasson, Donald Judd, Jenny Holzer or Antoni Tàpies.
