Gastón Baquero (Banes, Cuba, 1914-Madrid, 1997), Cuban poet, essayist and journalist, arrived in Spain in April 1959 as a consecrated man in the world of Latin-American literature. He was supported by figures such as Camilo José Cela and José García Nieto, and collaborated with numerous media outlets such as RNE.
