Fundación Banco Santander sponsors the Francisco Calvo Serraller conference cycle organised by the Fundación Amigos del Museo del Prado to explore its extensive collection.

The latest edition focused on different aspects of Velázquez and his work: the historical-artistic context, the most important events in his life, his clients and his narrative, compositional and stylistic resources.

Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza

Fundación Banco Santander is one of the corporate friends of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza.

It is essential that companies and institutions contribute to the preservation and dissemination of its artistic heritage and make possible the holding of a wide programme of activities (visits, courses, conferences, etc.) related both to its collection and the temporary exhibitions organised by the museum.

ARTIUM-Centro Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo

Fundación Banco Santander is one of the entities that supports the cultural endeavours of the Centro-Museo Vasco de Arte Contemporáneo. Located in Vitoria-Gasteiz, this institution has a large collection of modern and contemporary art started by the Provincial Council of Álava back in the 1970s.

Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo (IAC)

The foundation collaborates with this independent association of art professionals dedicated to the defence of the interests of the art community as a whole. The IAC carries out several initiatives to improve the institutional network of contemporary art, to oversee the implementation of best practices in the sector, and to foster a new perception in society of contemporary Spanish art.
