Fundación Banco Santander is one of the main sponsors of the musical season and cultural initiatives at the Teatro Real in Madrid.

Its extensive programme comprises operas, concerts, recitals and dance events, along with a varied selection of cultural events revolving around these (seminars, workshops, conferences, film showings, etc.). With a view to bringing musical experience and the performing arts in general to a wider audience, activities have been adapted for adults, families, young people, children and people with special needs. 

The Teatro Real has also opened its doors to other genres in recent years, creating the Flamenco Real cycle, which caters for different dance schools and trends and flamenco singing, while the Universal Music Festival offers concerts by leading figures of rock, pop and other musical styles.
