Fundación Banco Santander, together with the University of Exeter and the University of Barcelona present a testimonial, educational and informative audiovisual online project that recovers the intimate history of women who played an important role during the 20th century in Spain.

Cartasvivas is an original idea by filmmaker Paula Ortiz, and Exeter University Professor and writer, Nuria Capdevila-Argüelles. This initiative brings together film, literature, social commitment and historical research, as well as support for women. Well-known actresses will bring to life the authors recovered in film capsules directed by Paula Ortiz.
